This article covers lime (kalk) in detail:

Lime is a balanced calcium and alkalinity supplement, and will raise the pH of the tank. For topoff with limewater, I use a peristaltic pump to deliver a slow stream of drops.

bertoni - I've been thinking of investing in a peristaltic pump for kalk. Are you ussing a metering pump, ATO, or just eyeballing it? Any thoughts or refomendations on these methods?

I use a float switch to control the pump. It's an ATO setup.
