it usually is ... i've been running a filtersock on my drain for this reason!

We're getting ready to quit using filter socks and hoping to order one of these soon. My wife is hoping it's the pink version. Personally, I think the blue versions are more fun and probably not quite as expensive to operate.

I got 3 of them skimmers, used. the oldest is now 16 years. I wish I could get a refund, but even though maintenance has gone up, they still work like the originals in your pictures. still babbling, crapping, and fussin'

Yes, I agree that the blue ones are more fun. Besides, with the blue version it's the only one you have to worry about. But, if you get a pink one you still have to worry about those pesky blue ones!!!
