Eheim 1262 w/ two 1" returns???
Does anyone think it would be a bad idea to use two 1" returns off of an Eheim 1262 pump. I don't understand fluid dynamics too well, but from previous posts this should be fine.
Thanks, Carlos |

i have one 1262 running a wavy sea. I think that is 3/4", and it has lots of flow. I do plan on one day adding another wavy sea, and just tee'ing off the 1262.
I am not sure you would get much out of 2 1" returns from the 1262, but it depends on what you want i guess |

Thanks for the reply.
I just want to make sure I don't go through with all the plumbing to find out the 1262 can't handle it. From what I've read on previous posts concerning pipe size; pumps only benefit from going with larger diameter plumbing. Any other thoughts? |

I runa 1260 with 1" to a wavy sea (which exits 3/4) and it has good flow force. Perfect for my 50 gal. Blows my fish a little off course but doesn't smash them into rocks or the wall

Thanks for the reply IPT. My plan is to add a ball valve on each return, this will allow me to adjust for flow.
