Feb. Frag Swap

So who is the lucky person who is going to have all of us over for the next frag swap? Any volunteers?

All the local reefers descend upon your home, talk about reefin', swap coral frags, and then vanish. The host simply provides a place to hang out and answers questions about his/her setup, and typically offers beverages and food.

That pretty much sums it up. People are encouraged to bring food/frags/beverages for the host. The host is also asked to briefly to go over their livestock, equipment, and husbandry to give everyone else a glimpse of how they do things.

Some pics from previous swaps...

Can't find my pics from Tom's swap, Mike L.'s two swaps, or Jay's second one right now.

Crap...I work that weekend...I wonder if I can somehow fool my boss in to thinking that I am here when I'm really at your place?! Hmmm...sounds like a new DIY Automation thread idea to me!!

Pardon my ignorance but I am new. Is this a club....as in members and joining, paying dues, etc. Or this an informal gathering of people with a common hobby? If you live nearby your welcome to come?

No dues etc.; this has always been an informal group. If you're posting here, consider yourself in the club

Like a wicked case of "The Crabs" for your SPS. A little parasite that lives of the mucous of your corals. They can be treated with Interceptor (Canine Heartworm Medicine)

Neptune,

Looking forward to the meet. Thanks for hosting and really looking forward to seeing your setup.

Later,

Jim

Sorry, a little OT question...then back to the topic at hand...

How will the Interceptor affect one's corals?

Post your Fragables for the Frag-Swap and meet everyone.

I've got some trades coming for Fishboarder and Neptune at the meet.
