mushroom corals attach to glass?

My tank is barebottom, and i was wondering if mushroom corals can stick/attach to bare glass when they run out of room on their rock? Or would they just float around looking for live rock instead?

you can also try gsp,s or star polyps. my buddie has them on his glass bottom and they look like a mutated grass. when he feeds the tank its weird watching them eat it looks like the whole bottom of the tank is alive oh wait it is.

I plan on having zoo's as my background.

Mushrooms are much easier though.

wow that sounds nice!
So i would just place star polyp rocks on the glass not on the rocks? and they will spread in time?

yes just put the rock on the bottom glass and they will spread over time, if you have good lights they will grow really fast. i just have pc's and when i got my star polyps the matt was roughly the size of a dime now 3 monthes later its about 5-6 inches in diameter and i have to keep moveing the rock so they dont cover everything.
