After 3 weeks of hard work...

I am finally posting some pics of my DIY stand and canopy I made for the 90G reef. Turned out much better than I expected. I am going to get HD to make me some custom door panels. Mine didn't turn out quite as well as I would have liked. Let me know what you all think:

Very nice!

I have to get off my behind and build a new canopy. I like the use of the rosettes and fluted molding.

The only downside to the stand is that it's super heavy. I'd say at least around 120 lbs or maybe more. I had to call my friend over one day just to help me move it into place from the garage into the house. Well at least I feel much better sleeping at night. Hehe oooops.

Thanks for all the great comments. This is my first time building anything and I'm really feeling proud of myself right now. I'll try to get some more pics up sometime today.

If anyone is wondering, I spent nearly $600 on materials to build the stand/canopy. It was indeed more than I wanted to spend but at least I am happy with the results.

bluesy- You sure about this? The shipping costs would kill you alone.
