closed looped systems

I was wonder how pple set up there closed loop systems and how icould do it I have a 55 reef ready tank and I would also like some input on if this was better than two tunze and a wave maker ? pics would be nice too

Here's mine. Honestly if I had to do it over I would just go with the tunzes.

Both the pumps are Ampmaster 3000's. Why would I just go with streams? Simplicity and a variable flow. The closed loop does work well but after all the BH's and pipe I think the cost would be close. I'm sure I could have done fine with just four streams.

For variable flow, you can hook it up to an OM 4-Way or something similar.

another option for a closed loop is what i did . i have a 65 gallon and i have one from the center of the tank that i drilled myself and placed a bulk head in and for the output i ran pvc piping up the back and over the top to a square around the top of the tank with 3 outlets in the square to push about 300gph strait at my corals
