How to get rid of mushrooms

Is there anyway to get rid of mushrooms? Or does anyone want any? LMK any feedback would be great. Happy New Year to all!

Nuclear weapons will do the trick.

They are pretty tenacious, even if you scrape them off sometimes all it takes is a small piece to regrow. I think Anthony Calfo said that someone put a mushroom in a blender, and got some mushrooms to grow... But I think if you use a screwdriver or something to gouge out the surface of the rock where the mushroom was growing you should be OK.

Try Joe's Juice? I have read that it kills things it accidentally contacts, why not mushrooms?
That said, I am always interesred in mushrooms for school. What would you want in trade for them?

I call them tank roaches. I have yet to find anything that rids your tank of them completely. Good luck!

I love them and would take any off your hands if you are going to toss em.

since i have pc's, its tough to get very many different corals to grow up the walls.

I know someone on another board that actually did the shrooms in a blender, and had mixed results:

here is a pic of some of them. I have a few other rocks that are literally covered in them. but they are in the back of the tank and pretty hard to get pics of.

This should help?

genarallee ounce wrote when your cutting them off a rock use the putty that you would attach frags to a plug with and cover the leftover skin. This will prevent if from getting light, water flow, etc, and it will die. Sooner or later the putty will become covered with coralline algae and you wont see it. Sounds like one heck of an idea that should work.
