LPS not opening up
I have a 65 gallon tank, with 2x 250watt MH 10k lights, as well as a seio 820 and a seio 620. My lps corals (frogspawn, trumpet and open brain) don't open fully. Could this be do to the high amount of light?anything I could do to allow full extension? All of y params are good:
Nitrates: 0 Nitrites/ammonia: 0 Calcium: 380 ph: ~8.2 |

Whats the alakalinity at? Also how long have you haded these corals and have they extended there polyps at all recently? If all three are doing bad all at the same time it is not just the coral but something happening in your tank. Intoduce anything recently to the system?

i had a similar problem with my torch after adjusting my lights... now that i moved them back up further from the water level it has started to open more... the excess light actually killed 6 heads and only 3 have survived... hopefully they will start sprouting new heads like it did when i got it... time will tell...
