Torch Questions
I just got a torch at my LFS. It has six polyps but 3 are dead. One seems very happy and is fully extended the other two are only about halfway extended. Since the one looks happy I am assuming that the water conditions/placement is okay. It has only been in the tank about 3 days. Anyway my questions are.
1. Is it normal for some of the polyps to be stressed while others are not? 2. What is the best placement, sand/rock high/low? 3. Should I break off the dead polyps, and if so how? |

yes is normal for a different head to be fine while another is not, i have mine on the sand bottom, but they can do just as well on a rock, i would not break the ded coral heads as new polyps might generete from it.
