Need a little ID help(pic intensive)
Okay, I have a few LPS I need some help IDing.
First one is one that I posted a little over a month ago and just about everyone agreed it was Favia. This is fairly closed up. I haven't seen any feeding tentacles on this guy. How do I go about finding the species name? Close up The next one I have listed as Favia rotundata because it looked similar to a pic I saw on reefermadness label rotundata. The colors are quite a bit different, but form seemed similar. It almost completely inverts at night (feeding tentacles, etc.) I've seen some other things that look similar lately, so... What do you kids think? Next one came in on a zoa rock. It has feeding tentacles that extend to about an inch. Saw them for the first time last night. Last one. This has extending polyps with ~20 tentacles around the mouth. I'm thinking it is somewhere near the goni family, but I don't really know. It also came in on the zoa rock. If anyone can guide me to where to find more in-depth info about species names and distinguishing, that would be great. TIA.
