This was sold as a blastomussa, but I don't think that is right, I am leaning towards a favia.

Any ideas?

That's a real nice favia. 100% sure it is a Favia.
Was it sold to you with a blasto price tag?

I paid 79, which I figured was way too little for it to be a blasto.
I feel pretty good about the price I paid, am I wrong?

80 bucks is a good price for that piece. I've seen similar pieces for around 100.

how large is the piece? very nice favia, btw! 80 bucks is a steal imo! most smaller colonies(4x4 or so) sell for about 100 bucks with that coloration. others, like the purple and green frags i have in my gallery, sell for 75 bucks a frag!

it is almost six inches from top to bottom, and maybe 5 across. And if that is a good price for out there in california, I must have gotten a steal for the east coast. Thanks to everyone for the help.

Favia Speciosa. Her's ours. You don't want to know how much we paid. If you got that for $80, consider that a major steal.
