I have these under 2 175 watt 20K halides and 4 110 watt VHO actinics. The sleepy hollow is about 10" below the halides.

A goodie I picked up from ICU2 at a local club auction here.

Picture isn't the best, but it's a nice full head which has made 4-5 babies already since he fragged it a week or so back.

Nice Easter egg!! I always wondered about the pink coloration in a lord or micro's skeleton. Seems its a boring algea or something and often spells polyp bailout! At least for me.

I hope that isn't the case w/ yours.

When I see that I usually just frag the effected portion off and the frag will do OK BUT I would trim it

Well. It doesn't look good. I lost about half of the polyps this morning. I think you are right. It looks like the polyps just fell off. No necrosis or anything. The remainder of the polyps are attached to the rock but some are not. i hope it doesn't die. Should I frag off what looks to be attached to the skeleton?

I fragged it and now I am left with two "healthy" polyps. I hope they make it.

WOW!!!!!!! Dude the micros are AWESOME!!! I'll be putting in another order soon!

Well... Bad news here. I lost the rest of the easter egg micro. I really liked it, but things happen.
