Unhappy sand color choice fo lionfish

Do you think a lionfish would looked washed out if i did a black painted background, with black sand? Maybe i should go with Fiji pink sand? Too many choices. Bunker

Actually I think the black sand and background would look good. Often dark background colors intensify the colors of the fish

If I had to do it all over I think I would go with black sand. Someone posted a pic a few months ago with black on black, it look really nice.

I have black on black and I think it looks nice. The colors of the fish do really pop and I find it helps keep the fish calm too. Just be prepared to either spend some time keeping the sandbed clean or learn to live with white specks and junk on the sandbed.
