Neon Gobies?

Has anyone had neon gobies pair up and lay eggs? These are one of my favorite fish, I'd love to see if I can get them to pair and breed. Thanks for any insight you're able to offer

I haven't done it personally, but neon gobies are commonly aquacultured. The book "The Complete Illustrated Breeder's Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes" (which I strongly recommend)says that to get a pair just watch the behavior of the group at the store. Any fish that stick by each other are likely to be a pair. Or you could buy a group and see if any pairs are formed.

I bought three neons and definitely have a pair. They stay together like they are glued.

I can recommend you do a google search for neon goby and breeding.
There are a couple of articles online (I know I wrote one of them) on breeding these fish
Funny thing is first hit on Google is the article i mentioned
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...3/breeder2.htm

also
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...3/breeder2.htm

Lastly, the breeders nets series that is stickied on top of this forum, has 1 yrs worth of breeding info. During that time Martin & I covered alot of different fishes, including gobies, you'll also find an article or two there

-google search away
