shrooms touching xenia

I've got some xenia that is starting to spread nicely. I plan on trimming it back in a couple weeks and trying to get some frags of it. Maybe trade it into the LFS or something. It is growing through my patch of mushrooms though. I don't want either of their growth to be stunted.

I haven't seen a problem with them touching. The mushroom is only touching the base of the xenia though. Will they hurt each other?
