Treating purple tang for ich
So I have quarantined my tang for about ten days now and treated with ich med. Its says to treat for ten days then after about the 28th day treat for another week. When I noticed him twitch and have a few white spots on him I started this procedure, its now about a week and a half and he has gotten worse. There is white spots EVERYWHERE on him....I would think the worst would have been over...any help is much appreciated.

I posted in your other thread.
What are you using to treat the ich? It doesn't sound like copper or hypo if it keeps coming back. I would suggest hypo to reduce the stress on the fish.

Change to another kind of treatment or medication. The one you use obviously doesn't work and it's not an uncommon situation. Hypo treatment might not be able to immidiately solve your fish's urgent condition cause you said your fish has white spots all over its body already. Hypo takes several days to bring down the salinity to the effective level. I'd combine hypo and a Methylene Blue bath with fresh water. Do the bath first to alleviate the symptom and then the hypo treatment for 8 weeks. I had successful experience curing seriously ich infested tangs. Just for your information, methylene blue is pretty mild to the fish but it kills beneficial bacteria instantly. So keep an eye on your ammonia reading.
