PPE looks stressed

my PPE is not open fully. the skirt is folded downward like it stressed out. the PPE is starting to look a little whitish in the purple area. will try to post pic soon.

sounds like to much light try moving to a lower light area if not the case is this a new frag? may just be shipping stress.

not new frag and i did move it into the shade for now to see if it will open up full again. thanks for your help.

it looking better today i think it was getting too much light and too much flow so i moved it and now it doing great open up beautifully.

Ktar mine do that from time to time also. One day it looked like 1 polyp had been eaten on but after a few hours it had opened back up and looked normal. Go figure.

so ppe are not high light lovers or does it depend on the type of lighting they came from?

IME they prefer low light. When exposed to high light they start to lose the dark purple and get speckling aroung the mouth.
