Shout-out to Schultz

I wanted to publicly thank Henry for hosting an excellent first meeting for CIMA. There was great food (could have had more corn) and absolutely amazing people.

It was great to meet so many new people and I hope to see everyone again in the near future.

Henry...thanks for the hospitality and the Montipora frag :-)

Henry

Thanks - had a great time. Beer was excellent (as expected). It would cause problems for me if had a keg of that around and could pour a pint on a whim!

Tank is specatuclar and plumbing/equipment setup is A+++. It was great seeing the crowd and I am looking forward to the next meeting

Todd

ooooohpsss.....clicked submit before I meant to....I was going to say also that my son and I had a great time....course getting my son to stop lusting for your TV and you XBOX 360 was a bit tiring !

I did finally get to sleep though....and that wasn't until 7:30....so the grand total on sleep deprivation for the day was just over 27 hours ! ! ! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yah! Who knew Milwakee's Beast was that much better straight out of the tap?

Thanks for the great meet 'n greet, Henry.
SO, who's got next?

Great post Vitaly! I also want to add my thanks to Henry for being such a gracious host. I have always thought the greatest compliment is if you INSPIRE someone else and your tank and setup truly inspired me! WOW! Loved that aquascaping!

I also think that nametags for everyone with their name and user name would be a great idea. I really have a hard time remembering names. I will offer to provide the name tags if you think people would be open to wearing them at the next meeting. I also felt that it might be nice if the host didn't have to do it all themself. I don't know if lunch is always part of the meetings but if it is then I suggest we either make it a potluck or have a collection jar for those that don't want to bother cooking but want to contribute. Just my .002. I am thrilled to be a part of such a group and appreciate being able to socialize with such a great group of people.

An added plus is that now my husband doesn't think I've got such a magnificent elephant in the living room after being introduced to people that have those real showstoppers 500 and 800 gallon. I'm still trying to fathom just how BIG those tanks must be. I hope to get to see them sometime.

Great time, Great food, Great People.
What more could you want?
Maybe the St Louis club driving up to join us yesterday? woohoo!

Henry,

Thanks for hosting! Your tank and setup are amazing and the food was great. I have pictures of people and some critters from your tank. If you want copies for the website or something, e-mail me.

Thanks!
Kevin

thanks for the kind words everyone. it was great fun even though it was nerve-wracking all morning for me. epon and sjwalker probably think i'm even more nuts than before (if that was possible) as they were there from 9am on helping setup and got to witness my nervousness first hand.

name tags have been used in the past. most people don't mind them, but i was unable to locate them. considering i left my wallet at the store on the previous run, then went and got it, i wasn't going back a third time.

as for the beer... i came up short on time for getting the really rare stuff i wanted, but in the end i probably got the best beer for the masses.

Heh I am going to keep my 58g for a while longer. Running / stocking / equipment costs will keep me from upgrading. Glad to hear that the mushrooms that I gave you are reaching plague proportions

To those of you who didn't make it, you missed out on
some killer corn, and the usual great CIMA get together.
