Does your fish attack you?

My fish are pretty chill except for my puffer. When I put my hand in the tank to work, sometime out of nowhere he'll come up to my hand and take a bite out of my finger. He's still only about 3-4' so its still cute, but if he continues this when he gets big we're gonna have some beef.

He also has learned how to use his tail to splash people when they watch the tank. Its funny as hell when someone comes over who has not seen my tank yet, bends down to see all the cute fish, and all of a sudden SPLASH! the whole front of shirt so wet! Neat little parlor trick.

So anyone else have fish that enjoy attacking you?

My orange spotted blenny bites me and any tools that get to close to its cave. Doesn't really hurt, so it doesn't bother me much.

I have a yellow damsel that is brutal. For a little thing he really lets you know he is there and doesn't like your hand in the tank. You don't have to be anywhere near his hole, just put your hand anywhere in the tank and it's chomp city.

My yellow tang will nibble my fingers, looking for food. It feels pretty cool!

My yellow tang is the friendliest fish in my tank. If I approach the glass it swims close to me and looks at me with love in it's eyes. (or so I like to think...)

My Yellow Tang does his territorial tail/scalpel whip on the acrylic whenever anyone, including me, goes to look at the tank.

My clown will attack my hand anywhere in the tank. I've had hair algae so I spend many hours in there. Of course the whole time he is attacking me. Usually it just tickles, but yesterday he got me pretty good.

Not yet.
My little perc. clown attacks any time any thing in the tank. He knocks new frags over by ramming them!!!? My lawnmower blenny attacks when I get to close to him. Half the time I don't see him so it's a nice surprise.

See my post today about my "anemone" defending false perc clown. Its becoming a war of nerves every time I have to clean the glass ( which is about every week). As I said it was cute in the begining..

I have a Maroon Clown that hits me pretty good when I get near the BTA. No biting though.

I have a pair of percs that tail slap me when I'm thinning out the xenia they host in.

Funny, my Tangs keep their distance, and they are clearly #1 and #2 in the tank.

I have a couple of clowns that will bite, if I get to close to their anemone. Of course they will also bite crabs, fish or anything else that gets to close except for the cleaner shrimp. He must have a pass.
