new volitan
When I purchased my volitan today the person at the lfs fed him a frozen krill, about an hour after I put him in the tank I noticed that the krill was laying whole in my tank. Is this a common thing or should I be worried? Im thinking he was just stressed from the move.

I also have a new volitans. I've noticed mine won't eat anything off the bottom. I've been feeding him food from a pair of plastic tweezers. He will eat pieces that he misses if he can nab them out of the water column but once it hits the bottom he won't look at it.
I agree with Evanish that brand new fish often don't eat right away.

i agree
Hi, I agree new lion will not eat especially stationary food. you can try a live ghost shrimp to start with. Also with frozen, some lions prefere squid, mine will not eat anything but squid for past 9 months. Good luck
