You're going to get too much flow thru your refugium. Maybe you could split your return (to the sump) into the smimmer section.

I would put skimmer before refugium. I don't think the flow will be too much for the refugium.

Agreed But still you will be skimming out everything beneficial from the fuge. You could keep the fuge at other end and keep the pump in the middle and split the overflow to say 1/4 and 3/4 and so the 1/4 flow only goes to the refugium. whatever comes out of the fuge will then go up to the display.

Make 3 compartments in your sump, On one end is a skimmer compartment. On the other end is your refugium. In the middle is your return section. Take the overflow drain to your sump with a tee. Run one line to each section with a valve for each section. Now you can dump raw water into your skimmer and also control the flow through your refugium if need be.
