JBJ co2 regulator question
I just got a one of these regulators for my co2. It has a fixed adjustment for the flow pressure. Appears to be set at 50psi. It is too much pressure. I cannot get the needle valve to tone it down to get any less than 3 bubbles/sec on the bubble counter. I wanted to set it more like 1 bubble/ 4-5 sec.
Anyone know how I can change this? |

I have one and it's prettymuch fixed. The needle valve on them sucks so you will need to change it out with a percision needle valve. Marine Depot has them.
You can only adjust the output which is by the needle valve. The left gauge is tank pressure and the right is output pressure. Mine runs about 45 on the output and around 800 on a full bottle. The regulator is very good IMO but it just needs a better needle valve. |

Same here when I first hooked it up a couple of weeks ago I was worried about the pressure but all is well.

I got one of the precision needle valves with the last regulator. I will switch them out and hope that it will give me a finer adjustment.
Thanks. |
