Free Channel Whelk

I think this is a channel whelk. From what I can tell these things are not good for other reef inverts and are predatory snails. I picked it up as part of a recent tank acquisition that I am using for parts for an aquaculturing facility. Quite honestly, I do not know what to do with this. So if you want it, and can provide it a good home, its yours!

If you cannot give it a good home, I think you can eat it.

Richard, you are first in line. If you want it, you can come by this evening (PM me for address and times). Please be sure you read up on these things before picking it up to be sure its not going to eat your other livestock!
