I think it depends on what kind of or color of the flatworms.
I had a small out break of the transparent green ones and added a six line wrasse that took care of the problem.

These are kind of a brownish redish color and smaller than a pencil eraser. The tank is been setup for two years in my home and i bought it and moved it when it was already two years old. Well, established. So, a six-line wrasse will eat them? Let me know all the choices for fish i have to eat the flatworms. thanks,

I just had this issue in a 45g reef I had. Insted of chemical Flatworm-exit, I caught a 6-line wrasse in my 75g reef...put him into the 45g and he's already taken care of about 75% of the flatworms...the reddish ones. I am going to add a scooter blenny too once I catch him!

Lines wrasses are good for flatworms. They are, however, aggressive and may not be good long term display tank members.

I am not sure about the coral banded shrimp. I have one in there and still have a problem. So, is the best thing to try a six or four line wrasse????

I bought a six line wrasse today. I put him in the tank that has the flatworms. He disappeared now, but maybe hiding due to the other fish messing with him. How long does it usually take a newly added six line wrasse to eat the Flatworms??

all i can say is that i have a 55 and a 25 plumbed together and the 25 was loaded with flatworms..
the 55 had a scooter blenny in it for over a year and i never saw a flat worm until the blenny jumped in the overflow. now they are starting to show up in the 55...

i'm pretty sure he at least kept them in check, he was always poking around the rocks and corals...

I've heard that yellow-tailed damsels will eat them.

I have a fang blenny that eats them.
