Now I have two reasons to go to Iceland. Awesome women, and an awesome tank to see.

Awesome tank... read most of this thread...

I am not sure why you have to cycle the base rock with the live rock? Couldn't the dead base rock just go right into the tank?

The base rock is not 100% clean so it will pollute the tank if I just put it straight in. I'm going to buy two 700 liter containers and cycle the stuff there.

Progress is kinda slow at the moment and I'm getting a bit tired of waiting for the contractor to finish the room. I'm stuck at the moment while I wait.

Arnar, is it posible for you to measure the distance between the glass panes? Or silicon thickness between glasses?

Thank you

I've been waiting for the contractor who is building the house improvements but finally in the last couple of days I got some progress !

They just leveled the table and put cement at the base. They have also built a stand in front of the table which will hold the tank temporarily while we push it on to the steel table. Steel beams will be fastened to the ceiling so we can lift the tank onto the movable tree stand. My fish room will be there in the far left corner but the walls are not up yet. You can see the steel beams in the foreground.

I'll include more pictures as things progress.

Finally the tank is in it's final position. We lifted it onto the stand yesterday.

Here is a Video of the process. (YouTube)

I will add some photos a little later today.
