How about a few specifics like dimensions on the tank, height of stand, how tall is the canopy etc. and more pics if you have them. Pics of the sump and what is the condition of the tank scratches etc. Who made the tank, how old and anything else you can remember.

Thanks

Pictures galore can be found on my photobucket, I can take more if you want to see anything specific.

http://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w258/bag151/

The tank is a AGA standard 180g 72x24x24 tank. I believe it is 4 years old, I have owned the tank 2 years of that period. There is a gouge in the glass in the main pain that is about a 1.5 long and 1/4in wide, it almost looks frosted in the spot. There a few micro scratches but are barely noticeable. The previous owner also managed to crack the black trim that surrounds the base of the tank (Not the Glass). I have repaired the crack with high strength epoxy and it has not given me any issues.

The stand is a custom made from Birch I believe and is high quality. The doors were built by a custom cabinet maker and are top notch. Stand is 75x27.5x38.5, The whole setup stands 76in tall. There is 8in of clearance in the canopy to get your hands into the tank. I previously had 3 PFO HQI mini pendants in there and 72in actinic VHO's and actinic LED's for moonlights.

The sump is a Precision Marine 33g sump that had been modified by the previous owner to have a adjustable baffle to change the running water level. 30x16x16.

The tank itself I don't consider anything special and is a used tank. The unique feature of the tank is its furniture quality stand and canopy. Its not like those crappy oceanic premade stands and I am honestly tempted to purchase a new Peninsula style tank and keep the stand.

The setup is currently Dry and Clean so I have saved you some grunt work as well.

Do you have a pic of the gouge? Also, is there an overflow and if so, how is the tank drilled.

Thanks

The gouge is located in the top middle in this pic, this is what it looks like when you keep the glass clean.

Here it is, you can tell I didn't clean the glass before the shot.

I tried taking a shot of it empty but its currently to dark so I can't get a proper focus.

It is a dual overflow tank with the overflows located in the corners of the tank. Each overflow has its own 1in drain and 3/4in return through the base pain. So the tank is fully reef ready.

OK that doesn't look too bad. What about the stand and canopy, scratches, dings, dents, etc.? do you have a close up of the sump?

Off the top of my head I don't recall any scratches or imperfections in the stand and canopy. I resealed the inside of the stand and canopy last year with polyacrylic so they are still water tight. I will take close up pictures of the sump when I get home.

OK Thanks. When you are taking the picture, please look over the stand and canopy and photograph and defects if you find any.

Well, I put the pencil to some paper and calculated the other equipment I'd need to upgrade from my 75 and it doesn't look like this is going to work.

Good luck with the sale.

The stand and canopy are made by the previous owner, a custom cabinet maker, and myself. The previous owner built the stand and had the cabinet maker build custom doors for the stand. I later added a few trim pieces to disguise the trim of the tank and a few pieces that I felt were missing. I am willing to part out the stand and canopy from the tank as long as I have a guaranteed buyer of the stand and canopy first.
