moving a tank in style
well "tjh" is now heading to the airport. last weekend was a rough one moving his tank, corals, and fish to my home, many of you local reefers benifited from this. well i thought i would have some fun and show everyone how he packed his goods for the trip. first is a pic of the new tank 96*48*30 all veiwing area. with an extenal overflow box. bubble rapped and on a pallat. this was moved on the moving van.
[IMG] 450 pounds of slab rock for a great scaping carfulling stacked in the back of the wifes suburban. [IMG] packing the co2 tank and regulator was and easy one with these recaro child seats. notice the four point strape. lol too funny [IMG] a BMW makes a great car along with a good car to pack a lot of fish supplys in =) wow he even found room for that new shuran reactor... well at some point of time i should put this in the north carolina forum to warn them of him and his reefing abilities. i personally will be looking foward to seeing this tank in 6 to 7 months. Tim the inland reefers will be truly missing you Richard Last edited by wishntoboutside; 09/22/2007 at 11:28 AM. |

no jucuzzi here. it is a 598 gallon tank. the baby seat picture is truley the best picture out of all of them and was one of the main reason for the post

I suggest he move the CO2 cylinder in the trunk.. for safety issues.
I've seen cylinders burst esp. when left in the car under the sun. http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/CO2/co2-rocket.html
