Do you think that we could maybe stick to the original format. This thread isn't very informative without the following.

Size:
Lighting:
ALK:
CA:
Reactor/no reactor:
SG:
Feeding:

You're right, I overlooked this
Size: 180 Gallon
Lighting: 2 x 150 W hqi (BLV 10.000 K, 2 x 39 W T5 (KZ Coral Light), 2 x 54 W T5 (blue and white, both by AM)
ALK: about 7-8
CA: 300-450
Reactor/no reactor: Ca/CO2 reactor, zeovitreactor
SG: 1.0245
Feeding: daily: OSI Spirulina or Salifert Energy Plus or Spectrum Thera+. Every now and then: frozen Mysis, Angel Diet by Ocean Nutrition
Age: A little more than 1 year. But most animals came from my previous tank, which had run for about 5 years. Some animals even came from the tank before that or the tank before that... For example: I have the yellow scroll coral more than 10 years now.
Misc: I use the zeovit-method, but I also apply techniques which have proven themselves for me in the past. I change water 2-3 x each month, about 27%. I also clean the sand bottom every now and then. The focus in my tank is both on fish and on corals. There are about 35 fish now, most fish are kept with two or more.
- Pairs/duo's: Geometric pygmy hawks, gem tangs, yellow tangs, regal angels, clownfish, damsels, mystery wrasses, neon gobies.
- Singles: orange spot file fish, flame angel (it's partner died recently after 10 years in my care), dartfish (it's partner died recently),
- Group: 12 threadfin cardinals.

Wow there are some awesome tanks here. Very insprirational.
I am having trouble resizing my full frontal shot down to 50kb so here is a side view of my humble little reef.

I hope it will be ok to do it this way as I am kind of slow at typing so here goes. For more info about my tank please click the link below.

currently i have 1 ea hamilton 10K, ushio 10K, and iwasaki 15K all on ice cap ballasts - truth is visually you can't tell the dif between them and the corals do equally well under all - its time for a bulb change but i haven't decided which i will go with likely the iwasaki?
