Buffer for removing scratches from an Acrylic tank
Does anyone know if there is an aquarium safe way to remove scratches from an acrylic tank? I found a chemical at a plastic store and the guy there said he has used it and it was fine, you just have to clean it out REALLY well. But I dont really trust that.
I dont remember the name of it off hand but I could find out. |

Try Novus, theres 3 types.
1 fine scratches 2 medium scratches 3 heavy scratches I recommend using the heavy buffer first, then finish it up with the medium and fine as you see fit. Ive used it, works great. Make sure to give it time to settle for a few hours, a day is even better. They came in white squirt bottles. |

Ok, so on this site I am seeing 2 different types of polishers. Novus is a chemical one, and the Micro-surface is like fine sandpaper. Which one is best? I have a few REALLY deep scratches that may not even come completely out but I would liek to give it a shot.
Any opinions on them?
