No not sure who gave you that advice but groupers are very aggressive fish she the link for spotted grouper

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...66&TopCatId=32

Also the tank is way overcrowded so that could be a problem as well.

Do you have all the fish in your signature line in a 55 gal?

That is way to many fish for that tank. Esp. the tangs they need a lot of room.

Here is a compatibility guide from Live Aquaria

Sounds like you got some very bad advice on the grouper from the LFS.

Take the time to read some of the articles sticky pasted to the top of the forum here and Waterkeepers newbie guide is a great place to start.

Sorry to confuse you, these fish are in a 75 gallon tank with the following:

1) yellow tang
1) ****** Trigger
1) V-Tail Grouper
2) Scorpion fish
1) Picasso Trigger
1) Snowflake Moray eel

Thanks for the advise on my 55 gallon......I will read up on what said. The tangs are small, as are the clowns. My starfish are the size of a nickel. Is this still to much?

Thanks,
Erin
