Just got a water softener

No RI for now. Is there anything I need to know for my tank? I'm running it with salt. BTW. If you got some general user tips that would be great (like for water household plants).

Are you saying that you are using softened water in your reef tank?

No. I mean instead of using tap water to mix with salt, I'm using soft tap water to mix with salt.
