Moving from TX to CA and want to take reef tank
Ok, so I tried to sell off my tank and coral but it has come down to the last few days before I drive from Austin Texas to Los Angeles California. I have now committed to taking my tank with me which is great - I love it and every last piece of coral I selected and watched expand, etc.
My question though is if I will run into state border issues going into California with wildlife. Are there restrictions? If so what are they? I understand issues with asexual aquatic plants that can take over lakes, rivers, oceans, etc. I see similar concerns can happen with coral but I don't know of any specific issues or concerns nor have I found anything online that tells me what is ok and what is unacceptable to bring into the state. So, if anyone knows more on this subject please let me know. My 5 gal buckets and battery operated air pumps await your answers and input.

There are no issues of bring livestock from state to state. They are shipped from all around the world to local retailers. Just bag them up and pack them warm. They wont know if they are going to California or back to Indo. Good luck with your travels...
