Green Slimer growth

A couple weeks ago I wasn't sure what was happening to my green slimer frag, three different polyps seemed to be bleaching out and I though something must be wrong, though the rest of the coral looked great. Then after a few days the bleached areas began to bubble out a bit, and in a couple weeks I had new little branches beginning to come out. I'm really excited as this frag is really starting to grow, as it had just sort of sat there for some time after I added it to the tank after CRASE in October.

Picture from the 2nd of December (sorry it's a bit fuzzy):

And now today:

Are green slimers typically pretty fast growing? I'm sure that this is old hand for many of the SPS keepers out there, but while I've had a reef tank for almost 15 years now, I'm new to SPS and so this is really fun for me!
