Deltec's are now cheaper than H&S??

With the new price increase it appears that some H&S skimmers have gone up considerably in cost. In fact, the A200-1260 has jumped $200+!! This seems to be the skimmer that is affected most. Unfortunately, its also the most popular. Too bad the US dollar is garbage.

Elos is the next to re-evaluate their price structure according to a post in their forum.

This is getting ridiculous.

you should start building skimmers and sell them to us cheaper! :P It really is rediculous though..........they don't invest that much into R&D anymore and the parts are definitely not that expensive, someone just needs to start a good US company to compete with them to drive the prices back down.

scott your resell value just went way up! lol

price increases have been crazy this year.

when i brought my sunlight supply blue wave 7 250W HQI dual MH ballast 6 months ago it was only $279 shipped now it cost $500. Same ballast nothing have been changed and it double in price.....

And with a rumored additional rate cut it's going farther in the dumper. Quite clear the ding-a-ling in charge doesn't really understand how it all works.

Nothing but higher prices for imports for the near (or long term) future.

Buy American and save, we have rimless tanks and NW skimmers right here in the USA.

Sequence Orca 200 and 250 skimmers shred all those skimmers listed and cost less.

Gawd, the USD is a POS. Nearly a buck fifty to the Euro. Tunze may also increase prices.
