Show Off Your Fish Only And Aggressive Tanks

I haven't seen a thread for fish only and aggressive tanks yet in this forum, so I figure why not start one. I don't know anyone in my area with an aggressive tank so I don't have the luxury of hanging out with a person and getting to look at their tank. On that note make the tanks come to those who view this thread by POSTING YOUR FISH ONLY AND AGGRESSIVE TANKS .

That is a nice FO tank you got. Very clean I must say. How do you keep the substrate so white?

First, Thank you!

The sand is Estes Marine Sand. It just stays white on it's own. I don't do anything to it.

The Hermit Crab is called a Common or Starry Hermit Crab. They get about 4 inches across. Mine is about as big as a baseball. He cleans up after the Trigger and Eel.

Me too. Could you please take closer pictures that don't necessarily have both tanks in the picture. I would like to see your fish in both tanks up close.

Me too! can you tell up what type of filtration you have.

Do you have BB or sand? (can't tell from the pics), If it's sand, looks like a very thin layer.

TIA

If you're constantly reading the Fish Only and Aggressive Tanks forum then you probably have one of the two kinds of tanks. So post them. Looking at pictures is probably what half of RC members do most of the time.

Actually, not all of us have a FO or Aggressive tank....but I am reading, reading, reading everything I can find before I start mine!!

I have a75g sitting empty, but I really want a black dog-faced puffer, and they need ALOT bigger tank....so until I get it, I am just reading, and looking at these awesome pics!!
Thanks for requesting this thread....very curious to see what poeple have!

My tank crashed about 2 months ago and I lost everything except my 4" Clarkii Clown and my 4" Pakastani Butterfly. I am starting to restock now so when I get some more pics I will post um.

Full tank shot-

The pics don't do my eel or trigger justice! My trigger is about 5" and the eel is about 14" BIG EATERS!! I also have a Lunare Wrass, Yellow tang and the meanest Cimmamon Clown I have ever seen, a Brittle star that is about 18" tip of leg to tip of leg!

Here is my soon to be FOWLR 50 gallon. So far I have a porcupine puffer going into it along with a zebra damsel and a yellow damsel, also 5 red legged hermits and 1 turbo snail. I am waiting on the LR to get here so I can start cycleing. The damsels are already in.

danorth, I think I see a Titan triggerfish in your tank. Am I correct? Those babies can get quite large and quite mean.

Yes and yes. It ate a lionfish and toby puffer. That prompted me to go with real mean tankmates. Louti groupers are very mean, and the dottyback is quite tough as well.
