Effect of "daytime" only lighting of a Refugium

Randy, I have been reading about reverse day/night lighting on refugiums being best, but I have a built in Fuge design in mind that I want to light only during the time my main aquarium lights are on.
Are there any negative consequences or am I just losing the benefit of the Ph stability?

What other ways can Ph stability at night be acheived? thanks,

pH stability is one concern. The extremes may be more extreme that way. Perfect aeration eliminates the pH swing, and higher alkalinity will also reduce it.

O2 is another factor, and it will drop more at night than it otherwise would.

Daytime Fuge Lighting

Randy,
So If I am running a large Skimmer and dripping Kalkwasser for all make-up water 24 hrs a day, I should be okay?

You might see the pH rise too much during the day. If you do, you can try the limewater only at night.
