Question Best LFS in NY?

I've been to a few in Manhattan.
New World is decent but prices are high which is expected for NYC. I think Fishtown in Queens has the best prices (with decent variety) I have found in the NY area.
Any others I'm missing?

There's World Class Aquarium in Brooklyn. Decent variety of livestock. They also do a lot of custom aquarium work in glass - unique shapes, also aquariums with built in sumps.

New world Aquarium seems to be the best in NY. They may be pricey, but I have had great success in the past buying from them. Not too many choices in NY. Online orders save you the trip.

I think everyone's correct about NY LFS that's why I mostly only get fish from them and get most of my frags online unless I see something I gots to have

Al, I'm going to check out that LFS. What's the best way to get there by subway or bus? Thanks!

there is a real nice lfs called salt water paradise in tonowanda. It will be about a 16-18 hour round trip for you to visit though.

Swimmer, it's wayyyy out in Brooklyn - 2015 Flatbush Ave. It's not easily reachable by mass trans. You could take the 2 or 5 train to the last stop, then one of the Flatbush Ave buses. Call to make sure they have what you want before going.

I would recommend Grenwich Aquaria. It's not in Manhattan, but worth the trip
