Acan Lord height placement question

Currently, I have a small frag of greenish acans and a small colony of red/gray acans are coming. I was wondering if I could place the acans in the middle of my tank without any bleaching issues? My tank is 20 in tall and is lighted by 2x250 d/e 14k Aquaconnect bulbs. The ROIII pendant is about 8 in above the water line. The reason for this placement is because it is sooo much easier to feed the polyps. I can just use my turkey baster and blast the polyps with cyclopeeze or mysid shrimp. Thanks!

The green lord, is it from atlantis?

If so it is a wild colony and should be down on the sand in the corner of your tank so it won't fry.

The red/grey-is it a RandyO?

If so you can place it whereever you want once it acclimates on the sand for a week or two

Lords prefer pc lighting so keep this in mind, RandyO's lords have been in captivity for something like 5 years so they will take all different lighting. I have mine directly under 175's

The wild piece will be a little more difficult, give it a nice, mello corner to hang out in until the flesh starts to fluff up and look happy. Don't move it for at least a month or more

Bugsy,
Thanks for the response. The greenish lord originated from Berlin method. The red/gray ones are from Randy. I'm at work now and need to put them in the tank.

Randy,
The Lords came in great! Super packing job! Do you think I could get away with putting them in the middle of my 20 in tall tank?

Maximus,
Maybe start them on the bottom for a few days, just to be safe. If they don't like the light, they shrink up. If they want more, they expand and stretch for it.
