That is the coolest fungia coral I have ever seen. Could you share with us the size of those plates. They look like they are ranging from 1-2 inches. Very cool!

I bought it off a local reefer who's re-doing his tank. The entire tree is actually very small. Most of the plates around the base are dime-sized. The plates in the first photo are a little larger - about the size of a quarter or slightly bigger.

thats awesome! i've got six or seven fungia babies growing out of a piece of lr. the biggest polyps are about 1/8 in extended and the smaller ones are about as big as this asterisk *.

The reefer I got it from told me that it will drop babies occasionally. I think it did drop one in my tank, but the current must have swept it away because I couldn't find it.

well they're so tiny i dunno what to do with them really. lol. for the longest time i didn't even know what they were! i'll take a photo and post it soon!
