candy canes at night

Are the little tentacle looking things that come out of candy cane at night sweeper tentacles or are they feeder polyps. Should I feed them when they come out?

Those sound like the feeder tentacles. A great time to give the coral some munchies. Those tentacles are very tacky and can take chopped up for with a surprising amount of greed.

Sweepers would be much longer, but it is the same tentacles.
