Bubble bully

I have recently found my love for LPS. I was shopping for my own christmas gifts and I pick three nice pieces. A bubble, turbinaria and a RBTA. I also recently saved a frogspawn from the $9.99 rack at a megalomart type place. So I am suddenly very big on the LPS.

My new bubble is appearently the new sofa for my couchpotato clown goby. Will it eventually just used to the goby sitting on it all day, or will it not inflate to the beautiful coral I once had?

The population densities of fish found in an aquarium are not representative of what happens in the wild. One problem many people face is with clowns or any other fish, in your case gobies, that host in corals. This is unnatural for the corals and may lead to unnecessary stress and possible death of the coral. Bubbles in particular are pretty sensitive to things that come in contact with it. I'm not sure what to suggest, as this is natural behavior for a clown gobie.

If you were to remove the fish the coral would likely return to its original magnificence. You could try changing the placement of the coral if the problem persists.

I second that, move the coral it might help. I have a watchman goby that cant leave fungias and trachyphyllias alone. He stays in one area so ive change the bottom dwelling LPS to the another sideof my tank. Now he sits in a tongan branch nook.
