I dont know where her mate is in that shot. there are 2 zoa colonies on either side and the pair of clowns keep bouncing back and forth between the 2. My Darts are really irritating me. Both of them are squealing like mad. Anyone out there have this issue? Chris at reeflo says for the bearings to go bad on both pumps is highly unusually and he will replace them with no problem. They usually see bearing issues in about 1 in every 100 new pumps. looks like I got lucky Im glad replacing them isnt an issue but what a pain its going to be to redo the plumbing..

Stand was built by JRFabrications, same guy that did mine. It's made of 1.5 inch square tube 1/8 inch thick.

I drilled plenty of holes in the strainer. Mflamb can tell you the math formula needed to figure the area required to prevent suction in the holes. basically more area in holes than area of pipe I believe..

Mmmm - looks like a lot of locals got lucky ! One of my Barracudas gets loud every once in a while but then nothing. It's funny that my Barracudas aren't as loud as the Dart - go figure.

So - are you going to send the Dart back? I'd do it now before your tank is totally loaded - or do you already have it loaded - JK !!

Sequence will send you new pumps and let you return the bad ones after you install the new ones.

those are red stripe anthias (fasciatus).. no mflamb, they are out and active all the time, they do display subordinate agression when the halides arent on. the lower females mouth wrestle until "daylight" ( when the first halide comes on) then all is fine ant they eat constantly
