mr. and mrs. mikey have been busy moving to a new place. i see him occasionally in googletalk. he says he'll check in when things settle down.

i'll go in your place though, dino. of course, if i do the traveling, the split will be 80/20. 80/me, 20/you.

I tell you what, if while you're over there if you promise to go visit this poor bloke in the Netherlands that just lost his father and wants me to help him transfer some funds to the rest of his surviving family in Saudi Arabia, and tell him I'm very sorry for his loss I'll split it 60/40 .

a similar thing happened to me last year except it wasn't an e-mail it was a fed-x letter. it had a letter and a check for 8 grand in it. the letter said i won a contest from a website i signed up at.
i won 88 k. they could only send me 8 because i had to pay EUROPEAN UNION taxes (10%) before i could collect the rest.they wanted me to deposit the check then write one for 8 k and send it to them in England.they said the tax payment check had to come from me. i knew it was a scam from the git-go but i was curious about the check so i looked into it. the check was written on a real account. i found out later that all the scammers want is that check cashed. once you do that they start harrassing you about the funds they need back and start adding fees. i also found out that the account the check is written on doesn't have enough in it to cover the check so they threaten the "shill" with going to the local authorities about passing a bad check as another way to extract more money from the victim.i shredded all of it and haven't heard a thing from them since.

You mean he was related to DRACULA?! OMG! Nina, you best be careful! These could be some rough folks!

Onereef - That's scary! I didn't hardly get any spam until I setup my website. In fact I hardly still get any spam in my personal email - way I have my email set up on my website though, they go through a couple of steps that pretty much does in any spam, some of the doozies caught by the spam filters though are amazing .
