snails

What are the best kind of snails to have in your reef tank? Where is the cheaps place to buy them?

which are the snails that can flip over by them self?

fighting conchs can flip themselves back over if they get turned over. They will stay in the sand though.
Nassirus snails can flip back over too, but again, those are more sand bed type of snails.

Turbos are good reef snails, but ya when they get flipped over, you better find them before the hermits do.

A word of warning... turbos tend to get big and knock over frags a lot. We had about 20 of them in our 90g setup and pulled out every one because we got tired of re-gluing frags all of the time! Of course, it's taking like 50 astrea's to do the same job.
