What kind of media would you use with it, and what kind of results would you expect?

they are pretty crappy in my opinion. I have 2 of them. The lids leak must be used in sump and the filter floss pads are garbage

mdefo25 - All I've read is negative reviews on how they all leak. The only plus that I'm aware of is that these supposedly hold more media than the other reactors out there.

I have 2x Kent PhosReactors and have had leaking issues with both of them. I would not recommend these.

I also have 2x Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactors and have had zero issues with either.

I just had a ViaAqua Media Reactor sent to me from Premium Aquatics. It arrives later today. If you PM me about this reactor, then that'll remind me to give you feedback later on today on how this reactor is built and if there are any leaks in it...
