I;m really guilty of that one....but I took Japanese in high school, and am married to a Latina......I have no realy background in German.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I've heard it pronounced two different ways:

Tun Zee
and
Tun Zah

No idea which is correct.

Well it's been two years tonight that I transferred the livestock from my 40g to my 120.

I'm in the process of upgrading/changing a few things including a new sump and still recovering from the top off incident in October so I just took a quick FTS for comparison.

I'll post the new additions in a few weeks.

Thanks everyone,

It's not looking it's best right now and when I did a water change and cleaning yesterday I busted about 8 branches off different corals. When I get the new sump in in the next week or two I am going to clean the back and the overflows, but want to have the filter socks on because it's going to be messy.

Jason - I picked up our tanks for diving Wednesday.

Here is a build thread with a different aqascaping idea, I think it's going to look good but not sure in a few years when things grow over.

I was thinking about upgrading to a 120 from my 40g breeder and I was just wondering if you liked the size of the 120?

Awesome tank by the way. Love your caps.

Home Depot sells it. Two 1 gallon bottles are in a box, and they are stacked in the Lawn & Garden section outdoors. Any pool supply store should carry it as well.

Thanks Jimmy,

I would have to say I wish I went with a 150g (5'x2'x2') it might of held off my desire to get a larger tank for a while longer.

I wanted to get the largest tank I could afford and if I went to a 75g I would be upgrading soon after. I also just wanted to have 2 MH's so I figured a 6' tank was out. I didn't want the cost to get out of hand so I thought at the time I would go with the 90 or 120. I don't like the overflows at all they take up way to much space, I would go for the corner overflow's instead, I think they are a bit better.

I'f I were to do it over again I would have gone with a 180 or 220 since I don't think I have saved any money (my own doing ).

Having said all that, sometimes wish I just got a 65g with 1 400w mh w/ lumeric reflector and some kerillas or modded MJ's amd a nice little uroreef skimmer and kept it as simple as possible, But I guess that's easier said than done.

How's that for an answer? I guess it didn't help you out much?

Actually that helps out a lot, because I was thinking the same thing you were about trying to save money and go with the 2 MHs on the 4ft tank. I think I may just save and get a 180 or 210.

Not our HD could be a Canadian thing. I just went back and checked again and he went on and on about something, I think he's still talking. So then I went to Rona and they had it in their paint section, 1 ltr for just over $6.

Now I just need to figure out how to use it, I guess I'll search skimmer cleaning or something.

I would agree, another mh is a drop in the bucket compared to the thousands and thousands I have spent. The start up cost will be more but it will save you from buying things twice or three times.

Nice job, your fishtank has come a long way and now it looks awesome. I really like that dark cave you have on the left, it looks really natural and nice.
