RO pressure gauge problem?
I just hooked up my newly purchased (SpectraPure) RO system and the pressure gauge remains on zero psi. I measured the waste vs. pure water production and it is just over 4:1.
Is the gauge defective?

Your waste water will be a lot more than the "good" water, this is normal, the RO part of the unit is discharging the watste, and 4 to 1 sounds about right on schedule, nobody said RO units dont "waste" water

Yes but my question is about the pressure gauge. It reads zero pressure even though I have good flow.

I checked the pressure gauge by removing it and hooking it up to my air compressor. The gauge itself is working properly. Why does it not register pressure on the RO unit?
