I love the speckled look. I'm seeing more and more of them (not in that color though). Looks like someone was painting their zoas and got a little bit of overspray.

Fragfarmer I've had them for years. Just took someone with a decent camera to get them on film. They are often called Ruby Reds and they are pretty darn hard to find. Most anyone that has them, that I know of, got them from me, either directly or indirectly.

Vital, I hate to talk price, as I dislike the LE $$$ type thing, but yes they always sell locally, as fast as they grow. They do fetch a nice trade once in a while too. I've heard that Tropoasis sells them for $20 a polyp or so. Of course I know where to get them for much less. I'd rather talk about the beauty of the sparkles and the richness of the Red

I have some too. Got them from soreviv(richard). They are nice looking zoas and they grow very fast. =)

TimB what lighting and flow do you have them under. I keep mine low on the bottom under 14ks. They are in heavy flow because most of my tank is SPS.

They look awesome. Was the first picture at the top you post under a 14k DE as well. What bulb are you using and are you using supplmental lighting.

The first two pictures are under 14k 250w Phoenix bulbs only. The third slightly fuzzy picture is 150w 14k Aquaconnect with power compact actinics.
