Algae/detritus eaters fs/ft $25 shipped.

It’s time to thin out my refugium again- Lots of stuff has been breeding like crazy! I wanted to sell off some of the snails, worms, mini-brittle stars etc, or get some frag trades going. I will sell a variety of the organisms for $20.00 plus $5.00 if shipped.

10 baby algae eating snails, Tegula mariana 1/8 – ¼ inch in diameter. These are super hardy grazers that breed readily when they reach about ½ inch.
5 Stomatella snails – reproduce like rabbits
20 mini- brittle stars to clean the sand.
10 spaghetti worms, also sand cleaners.

I have some other stuff in limited amounts, that I will also throw in for free if people request it while I have enough- I know some of the stuff isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but I like all of it

Baby bristle worms (5 or so)- these are the best sand cleaners around in my opinion, but some people don’t like them.
Handful of grape caulerpa and/or chaetomorpha.

Here are some pics of the stuff:

All sold for now, for everyone that PM'd me thus far, you are on the list to ship tomorrow. I should have a few more available for next week so drop me a line if you are interested. I still have animals, but am out of insulated shipping boxes. Have to scavange around the university for some more!

Hey Olin, were you able to ship on monday? Just asking because I thought I would be receiving it today and would hate for it to spend more time in travel.

Thanks,

Hey all, sorry to disappear, sent out of town for another disease outbreak (tis the season, warming waters etc), told the bosses no more this month! So definite shipping on Mon, the 16th. Sorry for the delay, I will make sure there are plenty of extras, the corals, extra animals etc. If anybody would prefer a refund, I totally understand, PM me and I will send it right out. Olin

Not a problem to ship Monday (16th) as long as we can get it on or before Wednesday. We are going on vacation Friday, so if it will be longer could you hold it until after Memorial Day?

Thanks,
Wolf

Hi Wolf, I think it usually is 3 days to get to NY, so that's probably cutting it a tad close if there are delays...Holding off till after Memorial day might be a good idea. I will hang onto them till them unless I hear otherwise from you. The rest of the orders are being boxed right now, and will be on their way today. Thanks, Olin

thanks Olin-
Yes, please hold ours until after memorial day. I don't want any delays to occur and everything to languish on our doorstep. Thanks very much!

Pm sent regarding a few questions.
Edit: your pm box is full, please pm me with these answers:
I know you are currently sold out of the 20.00 + 5.00 shipping cleanup crew package you were selling, but I have a few questions:
First off, do you think your package would be a good amount of cleaners to add to a 10 gallon reef? I only have a hermit crab and 2 turbo snails in there currently.
Also, how big do the mini brittle stars get?
3rd question is: When do you think you will have more available? Pending my questions about the 10 gallon and how big the stars get, I'm definitely interested when you have more available.
Let me know.
Thanks
-Stewie

Hi Wolf, will do. For the others that have inquired about future availability, I would guess that I will have a few more ready in 2-3 weeks. I had a pump melt in my fuge, so my abundance dropped to a miniscule amount...but everything grows fast, so it should rebound quickly. I will post or send out pm's when everything is back up to speed. Oh, the brittle stars probably reach a maximum of 1" from tip to tip, but most are significantly smaller, with the average probably being about 1/2 inch or so.

I'd like to try again as well. The snails didn't make it this time. Sigh!
